about the program
We are launching our new Counselor in Training (CIT) Program this summer - epic name coming soon! Our CIT Program provides in-depth training in character development, restorative justice, sustainability, and spiritual development for youth ages 16-17. This leadership training offers youth a chance to form a dynamic community and serve as role models for younger campers who attend Westminster Woods Summer Programs. Applicants can choose to apply for the Camp Heartwood CIT Session or the Camp Soulspring CIT Session. Our CIT program is a residential three week long commitment. CIT’s first experience an extensive week long training the week they arrive. The following two weeks, CIT's rotate between joining a cabin with a Cabin Counselor and working with our Resource "behind the scenes" team. CIT’s are welcome to stay at camp over the weekend between sessions and will be supervised with exclusive CIT activities throughout the weekends. Be the first to experience this new and inspiring program!
